This past week was our crusade/revival at church. It was great & God has done some amazing things in our lives! So I thought I would share a little. First of all our Pastor prayed with our whole family to break a generational curse; for me personally it was encouraging that I wasn't the only one who saw it. There was a lady healed of terminal cancer, another lady who had pain from a cyst on her ovary was healed as well. There are so many things that happened I can't begin to tell them all but I will share a few more.
ON the last night the evangelist had everyone bring their bills to pray over. Of course everyone did! My sister was one of those, and she did get a miracle. She has been away from the Lord for a while living life her own way. She recieved a eviction notice from her land lady on Jan. 1st to be out by the 15th. That would be on Tuesday. Well she came each night which was a miracle in itself. But she brought her bills. ON thursday we were asking her if she had all her things out of her place & if she needed help getting things out. On Friday she called to say that her land lady had called and is giving her a second chance! Bethany was SO excited and giving GOD the glory. She was saying that it was truly a miracle of GOD, which is true b/c no one could have changed things for her. THen she told me that she was believing for another miracle since she was behind on the light bill as well and it was to be cut off on Tuesday as well. Today she told us that she had just enough money to keep the lights on!!!! THANK YOU GOD for showing yourself to my sister who had given up!!!
My brother & sis-in-law got a reciept from their car company showing that two payments had been made in December, they only payed one. Then, this morning our Pastor gets up and says he has to tell us a story of what happened. The second night of the crusade someone pulled him aside & gave him a check (for the church) for more than thirty thousand dollars. How awesome is that???!!!!
So that was awesome to hear of financial miracles, and be witness to some of them myself. Plus see emotional healing and physical healing as well. What an awesome faith booster!
I also went up for prayer for a lump in my breast. It is still there but I am believing that God is faithful to finish what he has started. So there is my testimony for now!!!
Hope you each have a wonderful day!

Too cute!!!
On the way to church yesterday Justus said "Mommy I'm gonna make you crowd (proud) of me!" He makes me smile & laugh. For every fifteen frustrated moments there is that ONE moment that wipes it all away.

So, for a long time I have felt a tad bit aimless in my life. Part of it is the depression I went through ( and still fight). Another part of it is being a stay at home mom and becoming complacent. There are moments that I feel I am spinning my wheels. I can't say I feel it's a waste of time but it would be a lie if I said it is just pure bliss. I find it hard to maintain my relationships. With family, friends & specifically God. However the past few months have been different.
I should start with the stirring that God had been doing in our church, it has been a refreshing change for me. I have gone from showing up at church to anticipating what will happen. A lot of that has been my own attitude. And of course the Holy Spirit stirring in my heart. God has been at work with our pastor as well.
A few weeks before Thanksgiving our pastor announced that we would be doing a miracle crusade at our church. It started today & I'm very excited. Already people have been healed. In preparation for the crusade there have been tons of prayer meetings & fasting. All of this is coinciding with the Holy Spirit stirring the congregation.
And during this time I have been reading more faithful than usual----that sounds bad but I'm happy that my appetite for God's word is in full swing again. I hope to not lose momentum.
So thats my tidbit of my heart for now. Just thought I'd share a bit!

New Year's Eve
For New Year's we simply stayed around the house. We watched seven brides for seven brothers and talked until it was time to watch the ball drop. Dick Clark has come so far in his recovery & he has a sense of humor about it. Pretty cool. On New Year's Day we woke up late and watched some football. In the afternoon we decided to play games. We usually have a game day sometime during the holiday season. Last year we played Fact or Crap & MadGab. This year we played CLUE, it was fun almost every person won a game, we played four or five times. That took up the afternoon and the rest of our evening. After that everyone had to get back to real life and get ready for work. So that 's it for me..

Christmas
This year we had Christmas at 'my' house aka downstairs. We had to because there is no room upstairs anymore. My mom got a new table that is enormous! We can all sit down & eat together but once we're there we can't move. Sometimes it's fun
having everyone eat together other times it's just a royal pain! The table is nice, I like it alot. I'll take a picture soon.
At our house we open gifts one person at a time starting with the youngest. Last year we let all the kids open at one time. No one liked it. We didn't get to see each others gift. So we went back to the long drawn out process & we all like it better that way! I only got to take a few pictures so here is one of each of the kids youngest to oldest. After the kids are done couples take turns opening. I didn't get any couple pic b/c Justus wanted all his toys opened so we were busy.

Momma's Ark
Well so far we've combined three families into one household. Not exactly easy but do-able. The next to join in our home will be two (not just one) puppies for Christmas. Now Sam has wanted a puppy for a while but I always say NO, not until we get a fence, replace the sliding glass doors for easier axcess, & what ever excuse I can come up with. With that being said, it is not us that will be getting the puppies but my mom & brother. Not sure what they're thinking. I LOVE baby animals but also treasure what shred of sanity I can hold tight to. Sam now has more of an arguement of why WE should get our own. Sure, fine- but you can take him to work and potty train it every day; I've got enough to do for now. I suggested a simple goldfish; that was of course laughed at but it's something that wouldn't be time consuming! And enjoyable for the boys.
Next order of business is that there are talks of another family moving in...my sister & her munchkins. The kids I MIGHT be able to handle my sister however is in an extreme state of I WANT IT MY WAY, I"M THE MOST IMPORTANT PERSON IN THE WORLD. I can't really go into all the details except to ask for prayer. We need wisdom & God's favor. It's possible that in the next 3-6 months I may have three more kiddos to be responsible for. It's a scary thought but I'd rather go this route than to end up with the kids scarred for life or worse....PLEASE PRAY FOR US as in all of our household.

CRAZY
The weather is outrageously crazy around here! Last week the low's hit around twenty & yesterday we broke a record hi of 80 degrees! Can we say sinus issues??? We may break another record today~ The boys and I went outside to play today. 70's is actually nice in the middle of winter but I'm thinking that cold weather would be just fine as well! Stack must have brought a little bit of Texas heat with her. Now if we could just throw in some snow we would have seen it all this season!

Paul is just nine months old & Priscilla is three months pregnant. Say a prayer for her! Her baby is super cute, kinda like the Gerber baby.

Nic's
It's so refreshing to go somewhere and not have a schedule of things to do. The kids we so funny. Justus & Darcy were hilarious. Kinda like brother and sister....they'd get along & then fight for a sec. Anyways, we had fun hanging with Matt and Nic! Sorry no pics of the adults. The kids kept us to busy.

Spoiled!
My child is spoiled! Check out the pics from Bama. Justus got this 4 wheeler from his grandmother in Alabama. The stinking thing wouldn't even fit in our car; Sam plans on going back to get it in February for Justus' birthday. Thats fine by me, that's two more months that my child will have all his limbs in the right place. Sorry, I just don't think this is an appropriate gift for a three year old. Obviously Justus would beg to differ, & his daddy as well. Welcome to redneck country!
Ps No child rode the 4wheeler alone!!!!

Zeke
My little fella is so talkative lately. A lot of his words sound the same but he definelty knows what he's saying it's not just a bunch of mumbo jumbo! He is also on a growing spurt. Sleeping and eating more than usual. He makes me laugh so much these days!

License to wed---
Is Hilarious! We watched with my brother and SIL last night. And woke up mom because we were laughing so hard in a couple of parts. Maybe you will like it maybe not but I enjoyed a few laughs at the end of the night.

NFL baby
We had an awesome time at the football game. Four hours of adult talk only was heavenly! That night after the game was the beginning of our community outreach. After two hours of traffic we made to the church right on time. Our outreach was a great sucess. In four nights we had over 1200 people come through. This was the busiest year yet. My mom stayed at the house and watched the kids for us. Aubrey and I had lots of fun making hot chocolate and taking it to the workers. It got pretty cold after tke sun went down. Here are a few from the game. And a few of the kids at the outreach on Halloween night.
