All of the Winn Dixie's in our area are of course closing so they have signs up for 30%-50% off! Mom & I are going tommorrow to see if anything is left. I would be nice to stock up on some stuff for winter but I don't know how long this sale has been going so I just have to wait.
There are three store in our immediate area. It's sad, those are much needed jobs & stores that usually stay pretty busy. Hopefully they won't sit vacant for long.

How did you trip got to Winn Dixie? They're all closing here as well but I haven't made it to any of them. I figured it was probably too late to get anything good now. How did you and your Mom do?
Not too much left :( But we did get great deals on Halmark cards, marked down to %70 off!! We both like to send & get cards so we saved MOOCHO MULA! One of them has already been taken over & will be opening on Monday as a Food Lion (local grocery).
Oh that is good to know...I wonder if any of ours that are closing will be taken over by another grocery store.
