Headaches & growing pains...uuuuuurrrrrrgggggggh!

I'm SO bored!!! I've gotten everything ready for church, played the PS2, ate to much food, checked everyone's blogs & xanga's twice. BLAH. This doesn't happen very often but when it does I'm just itching to do something! OK, I'm gonna try to read a book. Later!

Hello all

Not to much going on here. This past week was spring break for our students so Sam spent a good bit of time with them. Justus & I went with them on Thursday to the mall. And last night was couples bowling; followed by ice cream at dairy queen. It was a nice break from the ordinary. Today I got a few items for the baby shower next weekend.

My brother & sister-in-law will be here. We are doing a luau(sp) themed shower for she & I together. I like the idea simply because the food sounds good. Oink-Oink. I've been super hungry lately but already feel like I'm about to pop. I still have a full three months to go. That's such a scary thought!

We are going to put up our 3ft. deep pool in the next couple of weeks. IT has been on & off in the ninetys. Perfect weather to go swimming. I still haven't found a bathing suit that will cover what needs to be covered.

Tommorrow I have nursery duty so that should be fun.

Cover her in prayer!!!!!

A few months ago I asked for prayer for a close friend doing through divorce. Please take a minute to pray for this woman. Or many minutes if you have them. Things have gone from bad to worse and the end is no where in site. This lady was faithful to her husband & is a believer but the enemy is out for the kill.

In January her husband walked out on her. One month later she found out he had been into drugs for several years causing debt that she did not know about. That same month she found out that he was living with another women & has been cheating (with many women) for years. In March she found out she had contracted an STD from him. Even now things seem to be getting worse. Bills are starting to come in that he has created. And he is taking no responsibility. Her world is crashing around her.....please cover her with prayer!!!!!!!!!

When reading over the events of this year so far it is easy to see why she is so devestated. Yet, remembering scriptures & circumstances I've been through I realize that God is still faithful and has victory in store for my friend. I pray that I can be of some use while she is surrounded by all this hurt.

Today I pray against the fear that the enemy is trying to blind her with. There are so many unknowns........

I tried several sizes before giving up. Click on one of the pics & it will take you to buzznet where you can look at ALL the pics in normal size. URRGHHHH. One day I'll get the hang of computers.

I wasn't really happy with the slideshow of pics from the biltmore, they seemed fuzzy or something to me. I decided to put a few on here. So humor me. We couldn't take pictures inside so most of them are from the gardens. Beautiful!


The weather was perfect for a house with no AC, we picked a great time to go. It was mostly overcast..very nice temps!

Mom & Dad

Justus new thing is to call us mom & dad. No clue how we went from mommy/momma to mom or from daddy to dad but it cracks me up because he sounds so grown up. I've tried to tell him to slow down a be a kid a little while longer. He is so precious!

Full Blown Allergies

Justus' eyes are so red & itchy. Not the pink eye type but allergy stuff. He has been sneezing all morning long. There is a constant flow of snot. Sometimes even a snot bubble. His cough is much better but still present. And we're running low on tissues. Poor kid.

We're back!

We had a great time on our mini vacation. I wrote about it on my xanga so go there for details. It is really good to be home. I didn't sleep more than 10 hours the entire weekend so I'm pretty wiped out.

I went to the doctor today & I've gained 4lbs since my last visit.....NOT GOOD!!!!!!!!!!! No wonder I"m feeling bigger these days! I will try to put up pictures later but they will probably go on xanga b/c it's SO much easier to put them up there. (MAC friendly). None of the pics really show how big I actually am so maybe I can get a good "fat girl" pic soon. Later...yawn.

Up all night

Well, we leave for the Biltmore House tommorrow and I can't sleep. There's still tons to do & it's almost 2:45 am. YIKES. I'll be exhausted by the time we get there but there isn't much I can do about it. My brain won't shut up. I'm just as nervous as I am excited.

It will be hard to be away from Justus for two & a half days but we need this small break. There isn't a phone in the cabin where we will be staying. I hope that our cell phones work or else we will have to find a pay phone to check in.

Update-

So Nicoles babies are hear & doing well. I'm so glad that she had a good experience with the c-section. I know that she had been worried but it all came out fine. She amazes me!!! Carrying around two babies for 38 weeks-----WOW. She did an amazing job!

As for us, not much new is happening. Justus felt pretty good all week long after the antibiotics kicked in. But we had another rough night. His temperature got back up to 104. Very annoying b/c nothing else was wrong. No coughing, sneezing or any other symptoms. He was awake from 2-7am; I'm exhausted but he was fine!!!!


This weekend we are FINALLY going to the Biltmore House!!! It's time for the spring flowers to be in bloom---yippee! I will be taking every allergy medicine known to mankind with me. Justus will be staying here with family-should be interesting. This will only be the third & fourth night away from us in his entire young life. However, we need it before the new baby arrives. So if you think of us this weekend say a quick prayer for us, Justus & the weather. There is a 40% chance of rain this weekend.

Spring is such a busy season around here & we have been staying pretty busy with church activities. It's nice that Justus is at an age where he can watch a 30 min. video or entertain himself (somewhat) for a while!!! So I'm going to try and enjoy the next few months of being "involved" before my baby gets here. I know change is coming just not sure how drastic it will be.

One more thing before I go...my next appointment is on monday for those of you who have asked. Boo- who; I will find out how much weight I have gained. YUCK. I have gotten considerably bigger in the past three weeks. When I lay down I can't breathe for the first minute & it is no longer an option to sleep on my tummy. I'm only 23 weeks...someone refresh my memory; I remember being uncomfortable this soon! Or this big. YIKES!!!!!!!!!

On my own

Sam is gone this weekend to Aquire the Fire with the youth. It hasn't been to bad so far. Brandon (nephew) came to spend the night with Justus and they had a blast-I on the other hand ended up with a headache. They wrestled, played cars, basketball, etc. And finally crashed sometime after midnight.

They're up again running around so I guess I'll go. Hope everyone is having a great weekend. Love each of you!!!
